pray.la is a prayer and worship movement for and through the local church, centered on Jesus and His Church. Our heart is to see a unified expression of Christ’s Church across Los Angeles—rooted in seeking God’s relational presence together in prayer. We believe we are more fruitful together than we ever can be apart, and that true transformation comes as God’s people seek Him in humility and unity.
We are not driven by programs or personalities, but by a hunger for a fresh move of the Spirit that awakens hearts, renews churches, and transforms our city. Los Angeles has a rich history of awakening and renewal, and we believe God is not finished. Through corporate prayer and worship, shared vision, and collaborative ministry, we are contending for another move of the Spirit in our time and place—one no single church could produce alone.
We believe the Church is strongest when it prays in unity.United prayer reflects biblical unity, shared mission, and the strength of diverse churches seeking God together. As we pray, individual burdens become shared burdens, faith is renewed, spiritual strongholds are confronted, and the gospel bears public witness across our city.

SEEDS
We are in the infancy stages—praying, listening, building relationships, and taking small steps of obedience as we seek to get this movement off the ground.
We don’t pretend to have it all figured out. What we do have is a deep conviction that God moves when His people pray together—and that unity among churches is not optional, but essential.
This movement is being formed slowly, relationally, and prayerfully. We are laying foundations—not building platforms. We are trusting that what begins in hidden prayer will grow into something that blesses churches across Los Angeles.

HEART
We are local church people who love the local church.
pray.la does not exist to compete with churches, replace churches, or draw people away from their church homes. We exist to serve the local church, not stand beside it as an alternative.
We believe revival does not come from para-church movements replacing churches—it comes when local churches are strengthened, unified, and renewed through prayer (we’re not anti para-church either).
Our dream is not to gather crowds for ourselves, but to see thousands of praying churches across Los Angeles—each flourishing in its own unique calling.

pray.la is just getting started. The foundations are still being laid. The relationships are still forming. But we believe the Lord is inviting His Church in Los Angeles into something deeper—something unified, prayerful, and beautiful.
